Employee Assistance Program

The EAP program is a specialized benefit that may supplement your HMO medical plan’s mental health or substance abuse benefits.

SJJPA members enrolled in Blue Shield and if your district purchases EAP coverage for Kaiser may receive individual counseling, family counseling or crisis intervention services through PacifiCare Behavioral Health. Mental health benefits are available to members and their dependents to assist in resolving personal, emotional and drug and alcohol dependency problems. These services are confidential and will be outlined in greater detail in the Plan Summary Description.
